RULES
AND REGULATIONS
READ CAREFULLY
1. Artwork must be original in design and
executed by the applicant. Each Artist
must accompany his own work and may display and
sell only in the category in which they were accepted.
No commercial dealers,agents, kits, crafts or castings
of originals from commercial molds. No Buy-Sell.
No laser prints.
2. Reproductions: All reproductions,
whether framed or unframed, must be clearly and individually
labeled “REPRODUCTION”. This notice must
appear on the front of each reproduction in your
booth. The method of reproduction should be labeled
on the back of the reproduction with a brief description
of the process. All non-labeled reproductions will
be subject to removal from display. All framed and
unfamed
reproductions may be displayed in “browse bins” ONLY.
Browse Bins may not exceed 16 square feet (example,
max width 48, max length 48). “Browse Bin” must
be clearly marked “REPRODUCTIONS”. Reproductions
may NOT be displayed in the same browse bin with
original art work. No reproductions shall be displayed
on the walls of your display. We recommend that you
do not number your reproductions.
3. Acceptance is non-transferable.
4. No Refunds of Show Fee for accepted artists.
5. Accepted Artists must be commited to show during
all show hours.
6. Displaying ribbons or awards from other shows
is not allowed.
7. Artist is responsible for collecting and paying
their Texas Sales Taxes.
8. No one will be considered for acceptance
for this Art Show after the closing date of March
15, 2008.
9. The committee reserves the right to reject any
work it considers unsuitable.
10. Applicants artwork may be used for Art Walk
publicity.
11. A demonstration area will be manned throughout
the weekend. Please consider signing up to show your
art.
Application Procedures
If applying in two categories, the
work in each must be substantially different. Seperate
administrative and exhibitor fees, slides, applications
are required for each category: one complete application
per category.
Enclose the following:
(in a #10 business envelope, 4 1/2”x 9 1/2”)
1. Completed and signed application.
2. Two (2) or (3) checks:
$20. Application Fee (non-refundable)
$130. Show Fee Make checks payable to
Art Guild of Rural Texas.
$45 Additional Fee for Protected Area
3. A. Slides
Three (3) slides of artwork. Work submitted on slides
must be CURRENT and ORIGINAL, representative of
work you will display. The quality of your work
is juried solely by the quality of the images on
your slides. Work is juried on a “fine art” basis.
Deficiencies in the quality of your slides can
negatively affect your jury score. Submit 35 MM
slides suitable for 140 standard Kodak Carousel
trays. Label ALL slides as shown (use permanent
slide marker pen). All art work needs
date produced, size of piece and medium description.
B. Digital Images:
Three (3) Digital images of artwork may be submit
ted on a compact disc in JPEG format, 1200 X 900
pixels (3’ x 4’) with a 300 dpi resolution
or send images through online application at www.TexasArtWalk.org/callforentries.asp with
artists name and title of work. All
art work needs date produced, size of piece and
medium description.
4. #10 Business size SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED envelope
with sufficient postage for return of slides.

Exhibit Space:
Exhibit spaces measure APPROXIMATLEY 10
X10. Work must be contained within the
assigned space. Only one artist’s work may
be displayed in each space unless all other Artists
have been accepted by the Jurors and paid appropriate
fee. Artists will not be limited to a maximum number
of works, Artist is responsible for keeping his
assigned area clean and left in order each evening.
Requests for double booths and corner booths will
be considered. Electricity availability on first
come basis.
Not Eligible For Exhibit
Buy-Sell, dolls, candles, manufactured or kit jewelery.
The Fayetteville Art Walk reserves the right to
make final interpretation of all rules. Artists violating
rules of this show may become ineligible for admission
to future shows and may be asked to leave.
